Agent to raise funds for hospice

AF­TER rent­ing out more than 30,000 homes since launch­ing 15 years ago, let­tings agent Lin­ley and Simpson is now throw­ing its sup­port be­hind a very dif­fer­ent kind of ‘house’.

The com­pany, which has a net­work of nine of­fices across North and West York­shire, has named Martin House Chil­dren’s Hospice as its in­au­gu­ral Char­ity of the Year – with the aim of rais­ing £20,000.

Staff are al­ready ahead of sched­ule hav­ing col­lected £4,000 in the first two months of the part­ner­ship. The Bos­ton Spabased hospice cares for chil­dren with life-lim­it­ing con­di­tions and sup­ports their fam­i­lies.

It re­lies on char­i­ta­ble do­na­tions to con­tinue its work.
