Bring the outdoors in

-

Working from home has never been so popular, and while converting the spare bedroom into an office or building an extension are options, Cedar Garden Rooms Ltd can offer a stunning alternative with the minimum of disruption.

While the family-owned company, based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, has built a name for itself over two decades offering everything from folding loft ladders and full loft conversions to kitchen installation, the newest branch of the business provides bespoke garden rooms that will not only enhance your home but also increase the use of your outdoor space, whether for work or pleasure.

Contemporary in style, the cedar structures, which cost between £15,000 and £40,000, bring an attractive quality to any home and can be used for a variety of purposes – from a home office to a party room, a gym to simply a place to sit and relax.

The Express bi-folding doors open up the building to allow the outdoors in, with the insulating properties and options to include heating meaning you can make the most of the room and the garden all year round.

The garden rooms are built to the highest specification, created on-site at your home using traditional building methods with Cedar Garden Rooms’ onsite installation teams.

Each structure is insulated and plastered to a high finish and fitted with a one-piece GRP roof that is guaranteed against leaks.

Cedar is the wood of choice for the garden rooms as it is long-lasting, maintenance-free and has a high content of natural oils. Customers have the choice of either treating the building to retain the wood’s rich colour, or to allow it to naturally change to an attractive silver tone while still retaining its durable properties.

The bespoke nature of the build means that your cedar garden room can be designed however you wish.

Its size, positioning, services such as electrical work and water connection, and additional features including decking and canopies are all discussed when a detailed site survey is carried out to establish a customer’s needs and budget.

Architect-designed drawings and images superimposed onto a photograph of the intended site are all part of the service.

Set up by uncle and nephew Andy and Gary Eamonson, almost 20 years ago, initially under the name Spacemaker

Lofts, the pair have grown the business, from installing quality folding timber loft ladders to a whole range of services including loft rooms and garage conversions as well as kitchen and bathroom installations.

Cedar Garden Rooms are happy to provide a list of its six most recent customers, and can also arrange for examples of its work to be seen.
