Comfortable dentistry
Dentists Dr Sharif Khan and Dr Meera Aggarwal at Rockingham House are on a mission to change the way dentistry is practised and are doing everything they can to promote these techniques and the new technologies that make them possible.
Sharif spoke at a national conference of dental professionals last year and outlined the measures Rockingham
House has put in place to ensure their patients regard each and every visit to the dentist as a positive experience and not one to be feared. This lecture has been repeated several times since and he is also organising an event at the Hepworth Gallery Wakefield later in the year.
Titled The Art of Comfortable Dentistry, it will enable the message about the work carried out at Rockingham House to be delivered to an even wider audience.
Sharif says: “The last time we felt so excited about a new technology in dentistry was when computer-guided implantology was being pioneered and we put together an event which was attended by more than 400 dental professionals.

With its implant work, Rockingham House uses keyhole surgery whenever possible which minimises treatment time and aids the healing process significantly.
