Get away from it all
Enjoy a well-earned break at this marvellous 16th century mansion
Whitley Hall and its predecessor Launder House have stood on the present site for almost 600 years and have seen many changes. Now beautifully restored, this ivy-clad mansion is a magnificent hotel and restaurant which nestles in the rolling countryside of South Yorkshire.
An idyllic getaway from the stresses and strains of modern life, the 32 ensuite bedrooms are all individually decorated to reflect the unique character of the building, and include four-poster bedrooms and deluxe rooms with views over the lake.
However, the sumptuous accommodation is only one of the many reasons guests return to Whitley Hall time and again.
Whether a simple bar menu, a la carte or table d’hôte the excellent cuisine is the jewel in the crown of a stay at Whitley Hall. Guests appreciate the superbly cooked, exquisitely presented dishes delivering taste and flavour as well as value for money.
Whatever your tastes, be they exotic, vegetarian or traditional, the restaurant is renowned for offering a variety of menus designed to appeal to all. The internationally- stocked wine cellars provide a beautiful accompaniment to all palates and budgets.
