Stunning rural retreat is ready to enjoy

-

Dunsley Hall Country House Hotel re-opened on Saturday, July 4, so guests can once again look forward to enjoying the country house experience within a safe, clean environment.

Set on the stunning North Yorkshire coast, Dunsley Hall is nestled in a landscape where the countryside meets the sea.

With spacious outdoor terraces and stunning gardens, it is the ideal getaway for those looking for fresh air and beautiful outdoor surroundings. Close to Sandsend and Whitby, the hotel is in the North York Moors National Park, with plenty of walks and beaches to explore.

The hotel was originally a shipbuilder’s country retreat, built in 1900 as a family residence, and many of the original architectural details, including colourful stained glass windows, an inglenook fireplace and oak wood panelling are still there for guests to enjoy.

Dunsley Hall has a team of professional staff who have spent the past weeks working diligently on preparing the hotel to welcome guests once again.

They are fully trained in the enhanced service and cleaning protocols required to ensure that your stay is both memorable and, importantly, safe.

The hotel’s spacious private dining Oak Room, the Terrace dining room and the extensive outdoor terrace are ideal settings for family gatherings or intimate al fresco dining, while having plenty of space to allow for social distancing.

Additionally, the butler trays and white glove service has been created so that your food comes directly to you from the kitchen with minimum handling.

If you want to make the most of your stay by relaxing in your own personal cocoon in one of the hotel’s spacious bedrooms, then choose the room service breakfast option. This allows you to enjoy a lazy morning before venturing out to discover Whitby, perhaps, or a drive to enjoy the wonderful local landscape.

Eating and drinking are an important part of the Dunsley Hall experience. Excellent food served is created by a talented team of chefs, using local produce wherever possible, and freshly cooked each day. Everything is carefully prepared and you may well find produce from the hotel’s own kitchen garden on the menu in season.

Local beers and a selection of gins are served at the Club Bar and the cosy atmosphere is perfect for a pre-dinner drink.

If you are looking for a relaxing break away from it all, a family reunion or a romantic getaway, Dunsley Hall Country House
