Warmest welcome

-

It has been an erratic, albeit very British, summer, with a shortage of sun and a surfeit of rain, all the more frustrating after the unseasonably warm and sunny spring (when, of course, most of us were confined, at best, to our gardens).

However, there is now an unmistakable autumnal feel to the weather, with chilly mornings prompting thoughts of turning on the heating – or enjoying the peerless pleasure of a real fire, for there really is no better way to warm a room.

Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces is currently celebrating 10 years of meeting the home heating needs of customers from far and wide and, after the disruption of Covid-19, is delighted to be welcoming visitors to their Huddersfield showroom.

There can be found one of the most extensive collections in the county of logburning and multi-fuel stoves, along with gas fires and traditional gas stoves.

The business was established and is run by husband-and-wife team Liam and Olivia Clough, who are grateful for the custom they have received throughout the past decade and, particularly, in recent weeks.

Liam says: “We are so thankful to the good people of Yorkshire for their ongoing support, especially this year with all the uncertainty everyone has had to face.

“The showroom is currently open by appointment only to ensure customers can view in complete safety and are able to have the undivided attention of staff should they need to ask any questions or seek any advice on our range.”

Liam and Olivia have always adopted a very progressive approach to the business, stocking the latest products alongside more traditional models and keeping abreast of ever-changing market trends.

They are already well prepared for the phasing out of the most polluting fuels

(coal and wet wood) from next year, with all their stoves already complying with the latest DEFRA guidelines on fuel efficiency and air quality.

“Every product has been picked by our team to reflect the best on offer, giving you a range of options in terms of style, function and budget,” says Liam.

“However, you can rest assured that whatever you choose, it meets the highest possible standards.”

The HETAS-trained surveyors from Yorkshire Stoves are once more available for home visits to assess your heating needs and suggest a range of stove and fire products. They are also experienced installers, able to carry out all the necessary work.

Just as a stove is more than merely a heat source, Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces aim to be more than just suppliers and installers: they are here to help you create a beautiful interior with a stove or fire that can truly become the heart of your home.

To make an appointment for either a showroom visit or home call, please telephone or go via the website.

Here’s to the next 10 years!
