During the spring 2020 lockdown, Sally lived on the premises for three months and spent countless hours on the telephone to owners, providing them with company and a listening ear – not to mention regular quizzes and riddlers to aid mental stimulation.
This remarkable gesture also gave other members of the staff team the reassurance of knowing there was always someone close at hand should anyone have fallen ill or needed any other assistance in the unprecedented situation they were faced with.
Sally’s quizzes have since become an established and continuing part of Red House life, while her 22-year career as a corporate language trainer has come in useful for writing articles to keep owners both informed and entertained.
It goes without saying that the efforts of Sally and the rest of the team have not gone unnoticed by residents, typified by owner Sylvia who says: “Moving to The Red House has definitely been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
“Especially during these past few months, many of my neighbours and I can think of nowhere better to be.”
