Go online for warmth

Although it may not presently be possible to visit the showroom of Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces, this does not mean potential customers are unable to browse the extensive collection of products to be found there.

Instead of calling in person, visit the Huddersfield-based company’s superb new website, which displays the full range of stoves, fireplaces and surrounds – more than 200 options in all – as well as a comprehensive overview of the accessories and services available.

So if the current cold snap is suggesting it might be time for a home heating overhaul, or if the timeless charms of a real fire are appealing to you, then now is as good a time as any to begin thinking over the available options and giving Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces a call.

The business was established in 2010 and is run by husband-and-wife team Liam and Olivia Clough, who are grateful for the custom they have received throughout the past decade and, particularly, in recent difficult months.

“Although currently our showroom is closed, we are still trading and doing plenty of surveys and installations,” says Liam.

“Customers are using our brilliant new website to browse the products and see the services we offer, which means business can continue despite the restrictions.”

Liam and Olivia have always adopted a very progressive approach to the business, stocking the latest products alongside more traditional models and keeping abreast of ever-changing market trends.

With 2021 due to see the phasing out of the most polluting fuels (coal and wet wood), all stoves now in stock comply with the latest DEFRA guidelines on fuel efficiency and air quality, ensuring full compatibility with the upcoming changes.

“At Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces we have carefully curated our range from a number of the best manufacturers in the UK and around the world,” says Liam.

“Every product has been picked by our team to reflect the best on offer, giving you a range of options in terms of style, function and budget.

“However, you can rest assured that whatever you choose, it meets the highest possible standards.”

The HETAS-trained surveyors from Yorkshire Stoves are available for home visits to assess your heating needs and suggest a range of stove and fire products. They are also experienced installers, able to carry out all the necessary work.

In either case, all necessary safety and social distancing measures will be taken during their visit.

Just as a stove is more than merely a heat source, Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces aims to be more than just supplier and installer: it is here to help you create a beautiful interior with a stove or fire that can truly become the warm beating heart of your home.
