Beevers back open for beds and more
Beevers is back in business and delighted to be welcoming customers into its chain of bed and furniture stores across North and East Yorkshire.
The flagship showroom in Whitby, together with the company’s branches in Bridlington, Scarborough and Middlesbrough, reopened their doors on Monday, April 12, with all the necessary measures in place to allow customers to visit and browse with confidence.
The principal retail site of this long-established family business is on Stakesby Vale, just outside
Whitby town centre, where the biggest selection of beds, carpets and upholstery for many miles can be found.
Upholstery brands include G Plan, Sherborne and
Celebrity, plus Collins & Hayes, Westbridge, Alexander James and Ashley Manor as well as a comprehensive range of sofa beds and mobility chairs.
The carpet and floorcovering department always has hundreds of rolls in stock, from Abingdon and Ulster Carpet to Westex and Whitestone Weavers, at prices to suit all budgets.
There is also a comprehensive selection of Karndean products in all the latest patterns and finishes, plus hard-wearing vinyls and a great selection of rugs.
To many customers, from across Yorkshire and beyond, Beevers is synonymous with high quality beds, which are manufactured in a workshop adjacent to the Whitby store.
Now known as the Whitby Handmade Bed Company, it employs skilled craftspeople to hand-build each product, ensuring what you buy ensures a good night’s sleep.
As well as specifying bed bases in any one of dozens of colours and finishes to match their decor, customers can also choose mattresses with up to 3,000 pocket springs to give superb support.
A Whitby Handmade Bed Company mattress is carefully hand stitched to give support to the sides, meaning it does not sag when you sit on it or dip down when you roll toward it in your sleep.
Electronically-adjustable and massage beds are also produced in the factory.
The Whitby Handmade Bed Company is a member of the National Bed Federation (NBF) so you can be assured the product quality never wavers.
