Enjoy the new-look SASO showrooms
The three long months of enforced closure which began 2021 were a frustrating time for many of the affected retailers but at SASO Bed Superstore, in Castleford, they decided to put the spare time to good use.
So since it reopened to the public on Monday, April
12, customers have seen the first floor transformed into a spacious sofa showroom, complementing the unrivalled selection of beds and mattresses at ground floor level.
To celebrate the occasion, SASO are offering a range of discounts across the store to thank existing customers for their loyalty over the past difficult year and to tempt new ones to pay a visit.
The sheer size of the 10,000sq ft superstore means there is all the space customers could possibly need to browse in safety, so if a good night’s sleep – or, indeed, a comfortable seat to relax before bedtime – is on your agenda, then the staff team will be delighted to welcome you back.
At SASO they are particularly proud of their extensive selection of products by Leeds-based bed and mattress manufacturer, Harrison Spinks, a longestablished company with an unrivalled reputation for quality and workmanship.
“Made in Yorkshire” is a proud proclamation of many businesses but few can mean it to the extent of Harrison Spinks.
From the basic raw materials onward, as much as possible of each bed and mattress is sourced within the county, with many of the materials and components produced in-house.
The company has its own farm, near Tadcaster, where
600 sheep provide most of the wool for pillows and mattresses and 150 acres are devoted to growing hemp and flax.
Timber comes from the firm’s 56-acre North Yorkshire wood, while the factory includes facilities for weaving, wire drawing and spring production.
All this has contributed to a Queen’s Award for Enterprise in Sustainable Development in 2019 and Carbon Neutral Organisation status.
It goes without saying that Harrison Spinks are by no means the only products available at SASO, which also stocks beds and mattresses by leading British manufacturers including Hypnos, Millbrook and Relyon, all of which focus on craftsmanship and quality.
