The warmest welcome

-

As with retailers all around England, there was a collective spring in the step of the staff team at Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces on the morning of Monday,

April 12, when they opened the showroom doors to the public for the first time in more than three months.

For although the Huddersfield-based retailer had continued to trade online through the shutdown, when it comes to making a major investment such as a new stove there really is no substitute for seeing products ‘in the flesh’ and talking face-toface with knowledgeable staff.

Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces coowner Liam Clough says: “We are delighted to be able to welcome customers old and new back to the showroom after what has been a difficult time for us all.

“Our staff are pleased to be back at work, advising and helping customers choose the best option for their home heating requirements from our extensive range.”

While the showroom was closed, the opportunity was taken to refresh the displays and update a number of products, in order to ensure it continues to showcase the best available from manufacturers in the UK and around the world.

It is probably safe to assume most home heating has been working harder these past few chilly weeks than was the case this time last year but, nevertheless, the warmer months are approaching – and with them the ideal time to update or replace yours stove or fire.

“You are welcome to visit the showroom to see what is available and, perhaps, to receive some initial advice,” says Liam. “If you require home-specific advice either before or after browsing the showroom, our HETAS-trained surveyors are once more able to make home visits at times to suit, for a full assessment your needs.”

Home visits are free of charge and, as a further incentive to act now, zero per cent finance packages are available.

With 2021 due to see the phasing out of the worst-polluting fuels – coal and wet wood – customers will be reassured to know all stoves sold by Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces comply with the latest DEFRA guidelines on fuel efficiency and air quality, and have done so for some time.

Liam and wife Olivia, who established the company more than 10 years ago, have always adopted a very progressive approach to the business, endeavouring to stock the latest products alongside more traditional models and to keep abreast of trends in an ever-changing market.

“At Yorkshire Stoves and Fireplaces every item has been picked by our team to reflect the best on offer, giving you a range of options in terms of style, function and budget – but you can rest assured that whatever you choose, it meets the highest possible standards,” says Liam.

Once you have made your choice, all installations are carried out by the company’s experienced in-house team.
