Introducing the surfaces of the future

-

Lapicida is a world class specialist in architectural surfaces, combining natural stone products, new generation man-made materials and unique bespoke services with traditional masonry skills and high-tech capabilities..

Lapicida’s Harrogate HQ, showroom, gardens and workshop complex is a threeacre site, showcasing its products on walls, floors and ceilings as well as in inspirational roomsets where they are seen as cladding, architectural elements and works of art.

The workshops house both Lapicida’s traditional artisans and the technicians who operate the most advanced scanning and automated stone-working equipment in Europe, including one of the largest CNC machines in the world.

With a renewed focus on the future of home design and due to the success of its existing collection, Lapicida has added a new design, Anthos, to its range of antibacterial porcelain tiles.

Now offering three designs, the collection has been manufactured using the latest technology, whereby an antibacterial shield has been infused into the surface of the tile, creating a permanent, protective layer that eliminates up to 99.9 per cent of bacteria for life. The collection is suitable for surfaces, both inside and out.

Anthos is an Italian stoneeffect porcelain designed to replicate the appearance of natural mineral materials. Offering a large format tile size, the range comes in three coordinating colourways: Dark, Desert and Earth. Anthos has a structured finish and a surface that has been integrated with antibacterial technology.

Practical, hygienic, and

completely weather resistant, the designs also offer a brilliant ‘get-the-look’ alternative to natural stone.

Illusion captures the authentic look and texture of limestone and features realistic replications of the random patterns of shells, veins and mineral nuances which make natural stone so intriguing.

Much stronger than natural stone, it is suitable for a wider range of locations, especially as it is easy to install, stable, non-porous and extremely hardwearing. Available in three authentic limestone colourways – Grey, Beige and White – it comes in a range of tile sizes and finishes including honed, matt and textured.

Similarly, Semblance perfectly reproduces the beauty and feel of real marble but with all the benefits of porcelain, making it a great choice where budgets are limited or natural stone would be too thick or heavy.

Available in both tile and slab format, Semblance is suitable for floors, walls and worksurfaces. It comes in four colourways

inspired by the natural world: Carbon, Stone, Desert and Moon.
