The Great British Sewing Bee BBC1, 9pm

According to the old saying, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. The BBC seems to have decided that applies to the latest series of The Great British Sewing Bee. Once again, host Sara Pascoe will be welcoming amateur stitchers to the sewing room in Leeds, where they will be trying to impress returning judges Patrick Grant and Esme Young. However, it seems there are some old favourites that could do with updating, as the theme of the opening episode is ‘Classics with a Twist.’ For their first pattern challenge, the Class of 2023 will have to make a top with a twist at the centre, before tackling a transformation challenge that involves giving the office staples of a pencil skirt and blouse a new lease of life. Finally, they have to whip up a made-to-measure dress with cut-out details, but who will impress and who will have to pack up their pin cushion?

11 Minutes: America’s Deadliest Mass Shooting BBC2, 9pm

The four-part documentary series exploring the attack on the 2017 Las

Vegas Harvest music festival concludes with two hard-hitting episodes. The first picks up the devastating story as the local hospitals try to deal with an influx of patients, and the doctors are faced with tough decisions as they have to concentrate overstretched resources on treating the wounded most likely to survive. Meanwhile, the Tropicana Hotel resembles a disaster zone as concertgoers seek shelter, while country music superstar Jason Aldean, his wife and band members hunker down in a bullet-riddled tour bus. Even amid the chaos, officials start the search for answers and the FBI joins the investigation.
