Man, 20, killed in crash is named

A man killed in a road crash has been named by police as Jack Swift.

Mr Swift, who was 20 and came from the town, died after his motorcycle was in collision with a car on West Chevin Road on Thursday, March 9. His family yesterday released a statement saying they had been left “devastated” by the loss of their “grand lad”.
