Book on boy’s trip on heritage tram

A new book about a boy’s journey on a Yorkshire resort’s heritage tramway is to be published.

The Central Tramway Company in Scarborough says Tom and the Tram is a nostalgic tale by three friends from Sheffield, Hannah Jones, Kerry Dunning and Amy Bartle. It will be published on Easter Monday. A spokesman for the tramway firm said the book “captures the spirit of Scarborough holidays”.
