Tragic police officer is named

IT WAS confirmed last night that the police officer who died in the attack was Keith Palmer, 48, pictured, who had been in the Metropolitan Police for 15 years.

Scotland Yard’s top anti-terror officer Mark Rowley said: “One of those who died today was a police officer, PC Keith Palmer, a member of our parlimentary and diplomatic protection command. “Keith was 48 and had 15 years’ service, and was a husband and father. “He was someone who left for work today and expected to return home at the end of his shift, and he had every right to expect that would happen.”
