Clinic needs more donors

“WE ALWAYS need more sperm donors not only for our same sex patients but for any couple who need donor sperm,” says Adel Shaker, medical director, CARE Sheffield. “Helping to create a family is such a generous gift and we really appreciate the kindness of all our donors.”

Donors can be paid £35 per clinic visit – and there may be around 10 visits.

Donating eggs or sperm is no longer anonymous – the child may wish to contact the donor in the future.

Donors are screened for infectious diseases such as Hep B, Hep C and HIV.
