Fire at church was arson, police say

Police last night said arsonists caused a fire at a church over the weekend.

Expandable foam was sprayed into the letterbox of the Methodist Church on Louth Road in Grimsby, and set alight on Saturday afternoon.

No one was injured, and the church suffered minor damage.

Humberside Police are appealing for anyone with information to call them on 101.
