-

AMERICAN SINGER Ariana Grande said she was “broken” after the terrorist attack at her Manchester Arena concert.

She was uninjured in the blast and later tweeted: “broken. from the bottom of my heart, I am so so sorry. I don’t have words.”

Her management team, Scooter Braun Projects, added: “Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack.

“We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act.

“We are thankful for the selfless service of first responders who rushed toward danger to help save lives.

“We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families, and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.”

The Manchester concert was part of a European and world tour which started in February and was due to last until September but the singer has now suspended remaining dates.

Grande, 23, has been performing since she was a child and played a role in a television series on Nickelodeon.

She signed a recording contract with Republic Records and released her debut studio album

Everything (2014), also went in at number one in America and the release of third album, Dangerous Woman came last year. Her musical accolades include three American Music Awards, the Music Business Association’s Breakthrough Artist of the Year, an MTV Video Music Award, three MTV Europe Music Awards and four Grammy Award nominations. All three of her albums have been certified platinum.
