A celebration of rural graft
AWARD NOMINATIONS are sought to celebrate rural enterprises in Yorkshire’s famous food and drink sector that make a difference to the countryside economy.
The Rural Business Awards, run the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) and online retailer Amazon, consist of 13 categories and are open to businesses UK-wide.
As nominations opened, Helen Woolley, the CLA’s director general, hailed locally produced food and drink as a key element of the rural economy.
The entry deadline is June 30. Winners will be revealed at a ceremony in Surrey on October 5.
