Control tower project for firm

CONTRACT: York Handmade Brick Company has played an important role in the creation of a new airfield control tower.

York Handmade supplied 100,000 specially made bricks for the hexagonal control tower at Turweston Flight Centre in Buckinghamshire. The contract is worth £130,000 for the firm. It was approached after the centre’s owner saw the firm’s bricks at the base of the Shard building in London.
