Magnets used to treat ‘dancing eyes’

Implanted magnets have been used to treat “dancing eyes”, a condition that causes flickering eye movements.

Attraction between two magnets behind each eye stopped the motion while still allowing normal control of eye position. Dr Parashkev Nachev, from University College London, said it opened up a “new field”.
