City pair jailed after drug supply probe

Two Bradford men were among the 21 defendants sentenced to a total of 135 years in jail for their part in a Class A drug supply conspiracy.

Ataf Ali, 26, of Grange Drive, Bradford, was jailed for six years and Abaid Jamil, 29, of Whetley Hill, Bradford, was jailed for four years and nine months at Liverpool Crown Court.

It follows a 16-month Merseyside Police operation targeting the supply of controlled drugs in areas including West Yorkshire.
