Premiership boost for Huddersfield

FOOTBALL: Huddersfield’s local economy is set to get a £5m boost following Huddersfield Town’s promotion to the Premiership

University of Huddersfield researchers predicted the boost, citing capacity crowds, increased numbers of visiting fans, large sums from TV viewing rights and much greater levels of national and global awareness for Huddersfield.
