Former footballer in ‘assault’ arrest
POLICE: Former professional footballer Trevor Sinclair has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving and common assault.
The 44-year-old, who played for Manchester City, West Ham United and Blackpool, was arrested after a woman suffered minor injuries when she was hit by a car in Lytham. Lancashire Police said they were called to a report of a disturbance in Lytham. Sinclair was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving, common assault and criminal damage.
