Look North’s Harry and Amy going underground for Children in Need

-

WE ARE used to seeing news reporters in some unusual locations, but it is not often that viewers get to see TV presenters broadcasting from a cave. Yet that is what BBC Look

North’s Amy Garcia and Harry Gration will be doing on Thursday evening when they will be presenting the evening news from Long Churn Cave, near Ingleborough, in the Yorkshire Dales.

It is all part of a week-long series of challenges that they, along with weather presenters Paul Hudson and Owain Wyn Evans, are undertaking to raise money for BBC Children in Need, which returns to our TV screens on Friday.

On the final day Harry will be strapped to Paul for a threelegged challenge as the pair attempt to walk the 15-mile journey from Huddersfield to Halifax that will take them through several towns and villages on route.

This latest challenge for BBC Children in Need follows on from the team’s exploits last year when they raised £50,000 for the charity by doing, among other things, a wing walk and abseiling down a building in Sheffield.
