Tragic death of schoolgirl, seven

A seven-yearold girl died after suffering a medical episode at a school in Huddersfield yesterday.

Birkby Junior School pupil Aiman Abdullah was taken ill while at North Huddersfield Trust School in Woodhouse Hall Road before lunchtime. Aiman was rushed to hospital, where she died a short time later. Birkby Junior School was due to be closed today. A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “Police are not treating this incident as suspicious.”
