Car fire caused motorway delays

LEEDS: Drivers heading back to work following the festive break faced delays on the M62 near the city when a car fire led to lane closures during yesterday morning’s rush hour.

Highways England said two lanes of the eastbound M62 between junction 27 for the M621 and junction 28 for Tingley were closed while firefighters dealt with the incident.
