Pub attack victim sought by police

Police investigating an attack outside a pub now believe another assault took place inside shortly beforehand.

A 19-year-old man suffered serious head injuries when he was assaulted outside the Waggon and Horses pub in Market Place, Chapeltown, at 11.30pm on December 22.

The victim of the earlier assault has not yet come forward, but police said they hoped that they now would.
