North Yorkshire pub on the market

An historic North Yorkshire village pub has been put up for sale.

The Hare & Hounds in Burton Leonard, which is thought to date from the 19th century, is on the market after owner Rob Gilpin decided to focus on his other pub near Northallerton.

The pub, which is being marketed by Fleurets, includes a restaurant and private apartment. It also has planning permission to add six letting bedrooms. It is on the market with a freehold guide price of £450,000.
