Tesco-trial juror is discharged

COURT: A juror in the longrunning Tesco accounting fraud trial has been discharged for medical reasons.

The 12-member panel sitting at Southwark Crown Court has been reduced to 11 in the trial of three former senior managers at the supermarket giant, which began at the end of September last year. Carl Rogberg, 50, Chris Bush, 51, and John Scouler, 49, are accused of failing to correct inaccurately recorded income figures which were published to auditors.
