Forensic probe over at blast site

Investigations at the scene of an explosion which killed five people were due to conclude yesterday.

Evidence from scene in Hinckley Road, Leicester, has been moved to a secure site. Three people have been charged with arson and manslaughter over the incident on the evening of February 25.

Leicestershire Police said its officers and fire investigators were due to hand over control of the scene to Leicester City Council which will then prepare to reopen the area to traffic.
