Greens announce mayoral candidate

SHEFFIELD:

A city councillor will be the Green Party candidate to become South Yorkshire’s first directly elected mayor on May 3.

Rob Murphy will stand for election providing the party can raise the £8,000 required for the deposit and mailing to electors. The heating engineer, who runs a small heating business, is among those standing in the Sheffield City Region mayoral elections.
