Valentine’s Day thief sought

HARROGATE:

A thief who stole steak and Thorntons’ chocolates in a St Valentine’s Day raid is still at large almost a month on.

Goods worth more than £50 were taken from the Co-op store in Skipton Road in Harrogate between 5.15pm and 5.20pm on February 14.

North Yorkshire Police said the suspect is a white man, 5ft 8ins, slim, with brown or possibly chestnut-coloured hair.

He was wearing glasses, jeans, a green and white shirt and a light blue jacket.
