Boy, 11, seriously hurt crossing road

BROUGH: An 11-year-old boy was in a serious condition in hospital last night after he was struck by a car as he crossed the road.

The boy suffered a head injury in the collision, which happened as he crossed Welton Road at 5pm on Sunday.

He remained in hospital yesterday, police said.

Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact Humberside Police on 101 quoting log 421 of April 15.
