More women are car owners
MOTORING: Female car ownership in the UK has grown by more than a fifth in the past decade, new figures show.
Some 11.8m cars were owned by women last year, up 21 per cent since 2007. This is compared with a rise of 10 per cent for men, reaching 17.8m in 2017. The analysis, by the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, said automatic cars have doubled since 2007.
