Charity’s former base up for sale

A mental health charity has put its former home up for sale for £150,000.

The Starbeck base for Wellspring Therapy and Training, which moves to a larger nearby premises in June due to increased demand for services, is expected to be converted into flats.

Moira Start, the chair of the charity’s trustees, said: “We have been very happy with our premises at Prospect Road, but they simply aren’t big enough now.”
