Service for legion’s new standard

A West Yorkshire branch of the Royal British Legion will have its new standard dedicated at a church service.

The new standard of the legion’s Barwick and Scholes branch will be dedicated at All Saints’ Church in Barwick in Elmet, near Leeds, on Saturday.

The service will start at 11am at the church in Aberford Road.

The dedication service will be followed by a parade to Barwick’s memorial cross and maypole.
