Six teenagers held after man stabbed

MEXBOROUGH: Six teenagers were being held in police custody yesterday after a 28-year-old man was stabbed.

Officers were called to Dryden Road in Mexborough just after 10.30pm on Monday following a report that a man had been injured during an altercation.

Two men aged 18, three 17-year-old boys and a 15-yearold were all arrested.

The victim was in a serious but stable condition in hospital, South Yorkshire police said yesterday.
