M62 motorway upgrade to start

TRAVEL: Roundabouts and slip roads on one of the region’s busiest motorway junctions are being upgraded in a bid to slash congestion for commuters.

Work to improve parts of the M62 junction 27, at Gildersome, starts on July 23. The two-phase scheme, funded by Highways England, is being carried out by Leeds City Council.
