Show’s stewards rewarded for work

The professionalism and commitment of two stewards at the Great Yorkshire Show was recognised yesterday.

The Yorkshire Agricultural Society presented the awards at the show in Harrogate to mark the work of Fred Firth and John Haigh.

Mr Firth has served on the Yorkshire Agricultural Society Council for 34 years, while Mr Haigh has been on the beagle committee since 2003 and was made chairman in 2011.
