Raising diabetes awareness

A charity organisation and the Harrogate District NHS Foundation Trust have joined forces at the Great Yorkshire Show to raise awareness about diabetes.

Lions Clubs International 105 (Yorkshire) and the health workers have been hosting a stand, encouraging people to read up on the condition or possibly sign up for research trials. People can also find out if they are at risk of getting Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes.
