Chequers Agreement letter should be sent to Santa Claus!

HAVING received my letter from the Prime Minister justifying the so-called Chequers Agreement, I am puzzled. It’s all we will do this, we will do that. But it’s not a done deal! The EU is determined to give us a punishment beating. They won’t accept these proposals and Theresa May will have to submit to national humiliation or walk. The letter is really a wish list. It should be addressed to Santa Claus and should be put up the chimney.

THERE are so many things that we all have been led to believe, done in a daily “brainwashing” manner.

The current regular comment put out is about the EU “bullying” us. They are not doing any such thing, but, in fact, are working within the rules of an organisation which this country – with its own votes in Brussels – helped to build up.

The only “bully” at the moment is across the “pond” in America.

AFTER the last General Election, it was acknowledged that the result in some Parliamentary constituencies had been influenced by the votes of the students at universities therein – the result in Colne Valley being influenced by the votes of the students at Huddersfield University. Now, the academic year has ended and the Huddersfield University students who chose the Colne Valley MP for us have gone. Is this democracy?

JEREMY Corbyn, like all previous Labour leaders, will never receive fair treatment from the media. Swathes of researchers are being paid by Establishment figures in an attempt to make him look anti-semitic. Ed Miliband, Labour’s first Jewish leader, was treated with the same contempt as Corbyn by the right-wing media, as was his late father Ralph.

I, for one, stand with solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine, as by the way do many Jews, and fully behind Jeremy Corbyn’s leadership.

AS Brexit threatens to end in deadlock, should there not be a referendum on the rules of referendums in the future before we, the electorate, are asked to sort out the mess created by our politicians?

There’s no point of a second referendum if that result is also going to be challenged.
