Tributes after death of midfielder at 57
FOOTBALL: Tributes have been paid to former Huddersfield Town, Halifax Town, Middlesbrough and Bradford City midfielder Mick Kennedy who has died at 57.
Tough-tackling Kennedy also played for Ireland. Mick Quinn, who played alongside Kennedy at another club, Portsmouth, said he was a ‘very under-rated player’. Stoke City, where Kennedy also played, said: “The club extends sincere condolences to his family and friends at this difficult time.”
The Salford-born player played for 10 clubs in total.
