Headteacher aims to retire this year

-

FILEY: A headteacher who has spent 43 years working in education across Yorkshire is set to retire at the end of the academic year.

Denise Crosier joined what is now Filey CofE Nursery and Infants in 2011, having worked in an inner city school in Sheffield, within the Yorkshire Wolds, and as a supply teacher in many North Yorkshire schools.

One of the schools she supported, East Ayton, was supposed to be employing her for a fortnight but Mrs Crosier ended up staying for 24 years.
