Witnesses sought after cyclist’s death

OTLEY: Police are appealing for witnesses after the death of a 66-year-old cyclist who was found injured on a road.

The man was found injured on East Chevin Road at Otley after police were called to the scene just after 2.30pm on Friday.

Police said the 66-year-old man, who was from the Leeds area, later died.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to call West Yorkshire Police on 101.
