Virgin eyes up KCOM takeover

DEAL: Virgin Media is exploring a takeover of KCOM, the telecoms provider in Hull, in an attempt to accelerate its network expansion programme, according to the Sunday Telegraph.

The newspaper said it is understood the deliberations are at an early stage and Virgin Media could yet decide not to make a bid for KCOM. Virgin Media declined to comment on the report.
