Call for reforms to UK’s aid budget

SPENDING: Former foreign secretary Boris Johnson has backed calls for a radical overhaul of how the UK’s multibilli­on-pound overseas aid budget is spent.

He has written a foreword to a Global Britain report by Tory MP Bob Seely which recommends the UK’s developmen­t funding is refocused to include areas such as peace keeping and the BBC World Service.
