Warm and sunny weather set to stay for a while
SUN WORSHIPPERS can rejoice, with forecasters predicting yet another week of dry, settled weather and temperatures reaching as high as 25C this weekend.
The exceptionally dry weather is set to continue, with the Met Office saying showers may develop – but not until the end of next week.
Yesterday, Bramham in West Yorkshire, was warmest at 20.9C, followed by Linton-on-Ouse, in North Yorkshire, at 19.6C.
A cool breeze off the North Sea kept temperatures on the coast down, with Bridlington recording a high of 15.6C.
Met Office spokesman Marco Petagna said it would continue to be warmest and sunniest inland.
Those heading into the great outdoors can expect around 22C to 23C today, with temperatures rising to 24C to 25C from tomorrow to Monday.

It comes as a report found most excess deaths and hospital admissions in hot summer conditions occur outside severe heatwaves.
The study led by London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine looked at the impact of the heatwave plan for England, brought in after the 2003 heatwave caused 2,000 excess deaths in the UK.
The public recognise measures to protect from hot weather including cool drinks and staying out of the sun between 11am and 3pm. But they may not consider keeping windows and curtains closed where they are exposed to the sun, and avoiding alcohol.
