-

WANDISCO HAS secured a global reseller agreement with a large global systems integrator (GSI) which employs 240,000 people.

The GSI is a leader in digital services and consulting, WANdisco said.

In a statement, WANdisco, said: “The customer will have access to WANdisco’s full suite of solutions and use these to build its own data migration practice for moving data at scale into the public cloud.

“This agreement is significant for WANdisco as the relationship will encompass and target all major public cloud vendors, and a pipeline of opportunities is immediately being explored following successful deployment in a large-scale customer environment.

“Given the scale and reach of the GSI, with 240,000 people in 46 countries, WANdisco sees potential for material upside once the GSI’s data migration practice is complete.

“The immediate list of opportunities is expected to make a material contribution to revenue over the next 12 months.”

WANdisco CEO and chairman, David Richards, commented: “Today’s announcement marks the company’s first agreement with a global systems integrator and our business momentum continues to be encouraging as we see additional growth opportunities working with them in the nearterm.

“This agreement is the result of the customer proving that in situations where there is large scale, changing data, WANdisco is the only solution to automate data migration without risk of business downtime or data loss.”
